This article will guide you to create an API credentials within your Docebo environment (staging or production) and to share the required information with Edflex in order to enable the connector.
- Log in to Docebo
- Click on “Admin menu” behind the nut button in the top-right corner
3. In API/SSO section, click on Manage
4. Click on API credentials and then "Add OAuth2 app"
5. Fill the form
- The
app name: the name to identify the app in the list. It can be a user-friendly name as it is not used as credentials. - The
app description: a quick description of the app. Icon(optional)Client ID: the API client ID (needed as credentials), please do not add any space in it.Client secret: the API client secret (needed as credentials). Automatically generated by Docebo and not possible to update it.Redirect url: you can add whatever you want.- Then, click on
Display advanced settings - Only check
JWT bearerbox Upload the public keythat your Edflex contact will give you, and check if the name if well displayed on the right.Confirmthe app creation/update
6. Check if your app is enabled. If not, click on the check mark to make it green.
7. Data to communicate to Edflex:
- docebo_url
- client_id
- client secret
- username of the admin account within the user profile
- Precise also if multi-language is enabled on your Docebo platform. If yes, which default language should be set.
❗️ Be careful when copying and pasting; avoid copying spaces before or after the credentials.
