How to integrate RiseUp with Edflex?

What does RiseUp ⇄ Edflex integration offer?

Integrating your Edflex catalog with RiseUp means providing the best of training directly to your learners within your existing ecosystem.

The integration with RiseUp will allow learners to:

    • View Edflex resources from RiseUp dashboard and catalog

    • Share Edflex resources to colleagues or with the RiseUp community

    • Through SCORM format resource import, learner data on Edflex resources is automatically synced to RiseUp

Prerequisites

You will need:

  1. To have previously issued an activation request for the connector to RiseUp
  2. Your Edflex API login details (id + secret)
  3. The URL of your Edflex portal

To obtain your credentials for connection to the Edflex API, you'll need to contact your customer success manager. Example credentials:

Keep those in a safe place and share them as little as possible.

The URL of your portal is the web address through which you access Edflex.

Setup & Activation

Once you've collected the API credentials and the URL of the Edflex portal, you can contact the RiseUp customer success manager to activate the connector. You will be asked a few questions beforehand:

  • For each catalog, a RiseUp group can be defined to restrict access to the associated training courses.
  • You can choose whether or not to synchronize Edflex programs.
  • You can choose whether or not to synchronize an Edflex selection, in which case its contents will be tagged as “recommended” training.
  • Define the default designer of Edflex resources on RiseUp, which must be an account with a “designer” role.

Once activated, go back to the RiseUp home page and familiarize yourself with the Edflex resources.
