Integrating your Edflex catalog into Degreed means offering the best training content to your learners directly within your training ecosystem to accelerate your employees' skill development.
The integration with Degreed allows employees to:
- Browse Edflex resources directly from the Degreed interface.
- Find Edflex resources via Degreed's search (an "Edflex" filter is available to access the resources with a single click).
- Filter Edflex content based on the type of content: programs, courses, videos, articles, books, etc.
- View Edflex resources directly in Degreed. The metadata of Edflex resources displayed in Degreed (title, description, estimated time, image, content type, etc.), as well as their categorization, are updated daily.
- View their completed contents on their profile page
- For content administrators, classify Edflex resources based on skills and track learners completions.
Prerequisites
You will need:
- An Admin role on the Degreed platform.
- Retrieve the Degreed API information and send it to your Edflex CSM.
1- To obtain an Admin role on your company's Degreed account, you will likely need to ask a colleague with an Admin role to create an account for you with the same level of access. To create it, your colleague will need your email address, first name, and last name.
2 - In your Degreed platform settings, you will then need to create a new API key. For more information, refer to the Degreed documentation.
Installation & Setup
Once you have gathered all the prerequisites, you can begin the integration by following these steps:
Send your Edflex customer success manager the Get Token URL, the API ID, and the secret obtained from Degreed.
❗️ Be careful with copy-pasting; avoid copying any spaces before or after the credentials.
Your Edflex customer success manager will then activate the Degreed settings on your Edflex portal.
And, that's it!
The content synchronization will automatically run twice a day from Edflex to Degreed. So, just wait for the synchronization to be triggered by the Edflex application automatically.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues while trying to set up this integration, you can contact your Edflex customer success manager. If you don't know who they are, ask the colleague who gave you the Admin role on Degreed. They should be able to help you get in touch. If that colleague has left the company, contact Edflex via the chat.
