What is the Fluency Lab?
The Fluency Lab is an AI-powered practice space built into your Learnlight language course. It gives you two ways to practise:
- Conversation Practice — speak with an AI coach on everyday and professional topics, with real-time grammar and vocabulary feedback
- Pronunciation Practice — record yourself speaking and receive instant AI feedback on your pronunciation accuracy

How to access the Fluency Lab
The Fluency Lab is included in all Edflex Prime and Ultimate plans.
To open it:
- Go to your Learnlight language resource on Edflex and click to open it
- Once on the Learnlight platform, look for the Fluency Lab section alongside your course content
- Choose Conversation or Pronunciation and start practising

Conversation Practice
Have a real spoken conversation with one of 10 AI coach avatars, each with a distinct personality. Coaches also reflect regional cultural nuances (e.g. British vs. American English).
Available topic areas: Business · Travel · Sports · Daily life · The future · Discovery & culture
During the conversation, the AI coach corrects errors in real time. At the end, you receive a personalised report with a summary of mistakes, vocabulary insights, and recommendations — all anchored to your CEFR level.
Pronunciation Practice
Listen to a model sentence, record yourself repeating it, and receive an AI score on your pronunciation accuracy. Ideal for working on specific sounds, word stress, or intonation patterns.

How many sessions can I do?
The Fluency Lab is available 24/7. During the current introductory phase, there is a limit of 5 sessions per month, which will be reviewed after the initial period.
Can I access it on mobile?
Yes — from any device via Edflex, including through your company's learning platform app if applicable.
