How do I Register to a Learnlight Course?
On Edflex, you will find different type of content depending on your offer. You can have access to unlimited digital content and inter-company conversations within your Prime license and individual or group-coaching sessions if you subscribe to the Speaking+ add-on.
- To access digital content and conversations, please click on one of the content called "Learn a language at your own pace!" and enter the Learnlight portal.
- To access training sessions, please click on one of the content called "Practice to progress: Book your live session with a coach!" and enter the Learnlight portal.
When you access Learnlight for the first time, you will be asked to select the language you want to study and confirm your time zone and interface language.
Once selected learners can declare themselves as complete beginners and start at the lower level or do a placement test to evaluate their level. The test is a bit less than 50 questions long. Place yourself in a calm, distraction-free environment to realize it.
Then depending on your level, you will be assigned to a learning path. You can switch for a lower or upper level if you wish:
You will have to follow the learning path and move through the different units.
You also have access to the Magazine, to learn more phrases commonly used or discuss specific topics. These activities are between 10 to 15 minutes long.
Speaking+ Specific - How Can I Book Coaching Sessions
If you have a Speaking+ license, you will be able to book from Learnlight some coaching sessions.
⚠️ Please note that this workflow is not for group sessions which will be planned at the same day and time each week in advance. So learners won't have the ability to choose a trainer and a session.
- From the Learnlight homepage, you can click on Learn > Live Sessions or Book a Session button.
- Then choose your trainer, you will see which trainer you already have a session with and your day and time according to your availability.
💡 Once booked, do not forget to download the calendar reminder. You will also receive an email with the program details*.
You are not forced to choose the same trainer each time; they have access to your profile page and can adapt their training according to it.
- Before a session, you will have to prepare it and validate some of your digital content.
- After the session, you will have access to a session report, with links to flashcards and to listen to some mispronounced words.
You will be able to postpone or cancel sessions up to a maximum of 50% of cancellation 12 hours before the session.

ℹ️ *No links are provided in the emails sent to learners or team invitations, as learners must first access their content on Edflex (using the Edflex platform or their LMS/LXP/HRIS). An SSO is in place, and learners must first be authenticated on Edflex to be authorized to access Learnlight.
I Want to Learn More than 1 Language
This is possible with digital content, you can choose to learn as many languages as you want.
To do so, on the Learnlight homepage, you can click on Register and choose another language, you will have then to do another placement test in the new language of study.
On the top-right of the screen, you will then get a drop-down list with all the languages you started.
⚠️ For coaching sessions, you will have to get one license per language.
Learnlight Certification
You will be granted a certification,
- if you attend at least 70% of the coaching sessions and
- successfully pass the digital contents.
