However, on FutureLearn, some courses offer certification free of charge.
Once the option is selected, if you have not already done so you will need to login or create an account. You can login/create an account using your Facebook profile or email address.
Once you have done this, you will be able to start your course.

FutureLearn Certification
On FutureLearn, about 100 courses offer free certification, but most are fee-based. As mentioned above, you will usually have a choice between two paid certification options: the UPGRADE option and access to a course with the possibility of obtaining certification, or the FutureLearn UNLIMITED option and access to this course and many others with the possibility of obtaining certification for each.
You will then have to take the course and mark at least 90% of the course pages as completed, and get at least 70%, sometimes more, correct answers to the certification tests (only available with the upgrade option or in the completely free courses).
The minimum score required to validate a certification may vary from course to course, and some courses allow only a limited number of attempts at quizzes and exams.
